A recognized wine course for yacht crew aiming to provide an essential introduction to wine, its origins, varietals, and service rituals followed by food & wine pairing.
You will cover the basics of winemaking, grape varietal, styles of wine, storage, and service, a globally Internationally recognized qualification suitable to the Yacht industry.
After completing a short exam you will receive – if successful – a globally recognized qualification. (equivalent to WSET level 1)
Schedule: 1 session + exam

- Vinification, viticulture, and cultural and religious influence.
- Climate influence in winemaking
- Types and Styles of Wine

A Wine course, recognized within the Yacht industry, it encompasses all aspects of the fundamentals with an emphasis on the practical as well as with a good knowledge of wines. At the end of the course, students must pass a 30 question multiple choice exam paper to gain the qualification
Methodology
Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. During the course and combining with self study on the platform the student will attend on class sessions at Barcelona Crew Academy , with our expert teacher, the course focuses on practical experience using a range of quality equipment with of practical demonstrations by applying skills.
