This two-day course provides in-depth knowledge of the relationship between the employer/guest and the valet. Focus is given to applying efficient valet services such as handling guest clothing and accessories, suitcase packing techniques, and wardrobe management. clothing, shoe care, ironing and pressing different items, handling and packing delicate items.

​The aim of the course is to provide advanced aspects of Valet and organizational skills required for the maintenance and smooth running of the Guest Interior.  A Valet course, recognized within the Yacht industry, it encompasses all aspects of the fundamentals with an emphasis on the practical as well as with a good knowledge of how to manage a Professional and Efficient Housekeeping Services. ​Paragraph. Requirements

  •  Age limit for attending the GUEST Program is strictly 18 years old or over.
  • Training will be taught in English
  • Candidates must have done the Advanced Laundry Service module or have at least a minimum of one season of experience.

MODULE A INTRODUCTION TO VALET SERVICES & HISTORY 
  • ​History of butlers, role of butlers, 7 *  service
  • How to present yourself well & explain your role
  • Upholding the utmost and confidentiality
  • BUTLER SERVICE FLOW: Applying professional & efficient valet services: anticipate the Guest  needs
  • ROLE OF BUTLER/VALET:  Butler,  secretary & chauffeur
MODULE B PERSONAL GUEST ITEMS CARE SKILLS
  • The best techniques of folding clothes and essential knowledge of personal guest care 
  • The corrrect form of pack/ unpack luggage & store guest clothes
  • How to arrange laundry clothes
  • Dealing with guest clothing and personal items
  • Wardrobe management and organization
  • Cleaning & care of a range of different types and styles of shoes
  • Caring for specialist fabrics: furs and leather
  •  Plan personal valet services for pre-guest arrival​
MODULE C CORRECT F ORM OF DRESS & GENERAL WARDOBE CARE
  • Correct form of dress and attire
  • General wardobe care
  • How to store & place guest clothes in wardrobe
  • Different types od hangers
  • How to hang clothes in the wardrobe

Certificate
The training provided by International Luxury Training includes a Diploma Certificate is awarded by, the Guest Program- IAMI  is a MCA accepted interior training International Luxury Training is member of  PROFESSIONAL YACHTING ASSOCIATION. All courses are certified by IAMI Association & G.U.E.S.T. Program training. We follow the highest standards in the Super Yacht sector.

Methodology
Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. During the course and combining with self study on the platform  the student will attend on class sessions at Barcelona Crew Academy , with our expert teacher,  the course focuses on practical experience using a range of quality equipment with of practical demonstrations by applying skills.
