RYA Ocean Yacht Master
The Yachtmaster Ocean™ title is the highest qualification in British recreational boating. It accredits the professional exercise in boats of up to 200 GT and without limit of distance, having international recognition.
This course is for students who aspire to deep-sea cruising and is ideal for those who already have the Yachtmaster Offshore™.
To obtain the title, you must previously have the Yachtmaster Offshore certificate and prove a boarding period where you have carried out the Passage Planning, the verification of items on board, and navigation safety. In addition to a navigation of 600 miles during 4 continuous voyages.
In the practical test, the candidate is required to have knowledge of meteorology, navigation, routing, crew command responsibility, maintenance, and basic repairs.
