You will cover the basics of wine making, grape varietal, styles of wine, storage and service, a globally International recognised qualification suitable to Yacht industry .(equivalent to WSET level 1).

The aim of the course is to provide a basic introduction to wine, followed by some basic food & wine pairing.
A Wine course, recognized within the Yacht industry, it encompasses all aspects of the fundamentals with an emphasis on the practical as well as with a good knowledge of wines.  At the end of the course, students must pass a 30 question multiple choice exam paper to gain the qualification

Methodology
Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. During the course and combining with self study on the platform  the student will attend on class sessions at Barcelona Crew Academy , with our expert teacher,  the course focuses on practical experience using a range of quality equipment with of practical demonstrations by applying skills.

Requirements​
  • ​18 years old and over                   
  • Basic service skills
  • At least 1 season experience as a Stewardess
  • English fluent
  • Food Safety & Hygiene Level II Certificate
