The Elementary First Aid course module combines both theoretical and practical training in elementary first aid and basic lifesaving techniques.
This course is intended for all seafarers who need to be able to provide elementary first aid on board vessels. It covers the knowledge required under STCW 95, Table A-VI/1-3, and provides an introduction to the core principles of first aid.
It also shows how to respond to the most common medical emergencies.
