This 100% Online MCA Approved (STCW ISPS) Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) Course provides the necessary knowledge, understanding and proficiency under the learning outcomes of the Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) for ship’s crew who do not possess designated security duties. The PSA Course is the mandatory minimum security training requirement for any vessel that adheres to the ISPS Code.
Duration: 1 day - 4 hours
Requirements
Methodology
Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. They can work at their own pace, doing assignments, and preparing the content before attending the live session by zoom. Once the students have done all the assignments, quizzes and self-study work on the online platform, they will demonstrate their knowledge in a final exam online exam, . Through all the process you will have a personal tuition teacher.
After successful exam, they will obtain an official diploma Guest Program- IAMI . MCA recognized training
Assessment process
The assessment process is based in three parts. An online test taken by the students, the written assignments, and an evaluation carried out through a live session with the teacher.
Certificate
The training provided by Barcelona Crew in collaboration with certified Marine Schools and Professionals offer the possibility to obtain the Maritime training Certificates, mandatory to work on board of different kind of ships, Yachts. Includes a Diploma Certificate - MCA recognised certificate.
