This Food Safety & Hygiene module is aimed at providing crew with the necessary classroom-based training as required by MCA regulations. This course is specifically oriented for personnel working in service or galley on luxury yachts.
Training is an essential part of good food hygiene practice and is a legal requirement for all food handlers.
This qualification is essential for CHEFS & STEWARDESS on board.
Schedule: 1 Session 3 hours live - zoom + 3 hours own study & exam 45 min remote live session

Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. They can work at their own pace, doing assignments, and preparing the content before attending the live session by zoom . the live session will be delivered by Barcelona Crew Academy expert teacher in the field. Once the students have done all the assignments, quizzes and self-study work on the online platform, they will demonstrate their knowledge in a final exam online exam, . Through all the process you will have a personal tuition teacher

This course is certified by Award in Food Safety in Catering level 2 (RQF)-
Annex 1 of MSN 1846 (M). All these qualifications are classroom based followed by an assessment. Level 2 is the minimum acceptable level for catering staff and persons processing food in the galley. Certificate by awarded body MCA approved - 603/0816/3You will obtain this certificate after the completion of the total of the course On-line + attending the live session remote by zoom.

Food Safety Level 3 is an advanced food safety course t; students are able to learn the coursework at their own pace and on their own time through a contents preparation previous to the course in our Barcelona Crew Academy platform and followed by on class live session training with our expert teacher and with final remote invigilated -based exam.
