This two-day course provides in depth knowledge of relationship between the employer/guest and the valet. Focus is given to applying efficient valet services such as handling guest clothing and accessories, suitcase packing techniques and wardrobe management. clothing, shoe care, iron and press different items, handling and packing delicate items.

​The aim of the course is to provide advanced aspects of Valet and organizational skills required for the maintenance and smooth running of the Guest Interior.  A Valet course, recognized within the Yacht industry, it encompasses all aspects of the fundamentals with an emphasis on the practical as well as with a good knowledge of how to manage a Professional and Efficient Housekeeping Services. ​Paragraph. Requirements

  •  Age limit for attending the GUEST Program is strictly 18 years old or over.
  • Training will be taught in English
  • Candidates must have done the Advanced Laundry Service module or have at least a minimum of one season of experience.

MODULE A 
  • ​Relationship between the employer/guest and valet
  • Upholding the utmost and confidentiality
  • Applying professional & efficient valet services: anticipate the employer needs
  • Duties of valet: act as a Butler, house person, secretary & chauffeur
  • Roles of the Valet Service
MODULE B
  • Dealing with guest clothing and personal items
  • Wardrobe management and organization
  • Packing and unpacking guest’s luxury suitcase techniques
  • Cleaning and care of a range of different types and styles of shoes
  • How to professionally tie a bowtie and tie
  • Caring for specialist fabrics: furs and leather
  • Plan personal valet services for pre-guest arrival​

Certificate
The training provided by Barcelona Crew Academy  includes a Diploma Certificate is awarded by, the Guest Program- IAMI  is a MCA accepted interior training Barcelona Crew Academy is member of  PROFESSIONAL YACHTING ASSOCIATION.

Methodology
Students will have access to all the content of the course on the online platform 24/7. During the course and combining with self study on the platform  the student will attend on class sessions at Barcelona Crew Academy , with our expert teacher,  the course focuses on practical experience using a range of quality equipment with of practical demonstrations by applying skills.
